The Irving Department of Arts & Culture invites educators to celebrate and create on Sunday, Oct. 5 at Irving Arts Center. This fun and informal afternoon will feature brunch bites, mimosas, tours of the galleries, and artmaking. Drop in between 1 and 4 PM to join us as we explore the current exhibition, Rooted Visions which features artwork by 25 self-taught Southern Black artists who express deep-rooted cultural narratives and personal visions through the innovative use of found objects and everyday materials.
