Australian Landcare International Feedback

ALI sets out to promote Landcare ideas and ideals to help overseas countries and communities develop and run environmental programs and projects.

These include a multi-disciplinary approach to resolving problems; community development through communications, training and empowerment; a diverse and creative approach to securing funding; promoting conservation farming; taking action to cope with climate change; revegetating/rehabilitating landscapes; and maintaining, and better still improving biodiversity.

ALI partners with numerous government bodies and NGOs, and aims to involve Australian Landcarers widely in these activities.

The Committee of ALI is currently reviewing how best to achieve these outcomes. Your input into this process would be greatly appreciated.
