Trina Mangano New Official Scholarship

Trina Mangano was a nationally and internationally rated official, served as a member of the USL Training Committee, was a CWLOA trainer, and served as the officials’ assignor for the IWLCA recruiting events. She was instrumental in supporting the growth of the sport through her work training officials. In honor of Trina’s commitment to developing women’s lacrosse officials, promoting officials’ education, these scholarships are the best way we can recognize her dedication.

This scholarship will underwrite the cost of the training, rating, and outfitting for each selected new official after they attend a CPOA session. The IWLCA Treasurer will reimburse the scholarship recipients with a $700 stipend for expenses incurred for registration fees, travel to CPOA, purchasing officiating gear and apparel, and any other related costs AFTER the official attends the training session and receives their rating. You must attend a CPOA event and complete USA Lacrosse requirements to be considered for the scholarship.
