ACRP 06-09: Equitable Workforce Outcomes: A Study of Women and Minority Representation at Airports |
The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) is leading the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Project No. 06-09 “Equitable Workforce Outcomes: A Study of Women and Minority Representation at Airports.” The objective of this research project is to identify and evaluate the current state of women and minority representation among direct employees of U.S. airports. The research is also intended to use the information collected to develop resources and tools to address potential issues identified including, but not limited to, recruitment, retention, promotion, and wage disparity.
A key piece of information needed for this research concerns Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies, practices, and data at U.S. airports.
To obtain this information, we are seeking engagement from airport administrators as well as direct employees of airports, at every level across the organization, to both participate in a survey, and possibly follow-up focus groups.
