Your input will be used to develop 3-year scenarios for the future of global human capital and inform strategic decisions across organizations and industries through the COVID-19 crisis.

Likelihood: How likely is it that this statement will in fact be true by 2023? (1 = very unlikely, 7 = very likely)

Impact: How significant of an impact would it have on global human capital if the statement were true? (1 = very low impact, 7 = very high impact)

EXAMPLE: Assume the statement says: "Wages will continue to grow globally." If you believe there is low likelihood that wages will grow globally through 2023, you would rate the likelihood a "2". And if you believe it will have a high impact on global human capital, you would rate the impact a "6" for the force.

The digital divide will widen across workers driven by remote work
A distrust for fiat currency will spur utilization of cryptocurrencies (e.g. Bitcoin)
COVID-19 will remain a dangerous global pandemic for longer than the next 6 months
Deaths and health conditions caused by COVID-19 will dramatically impact the available workforce
COVID-19 will significantly change the way health services are run and financed (e.g. shift to telemedicine, at home diagnostics)
Health and wellness benefits will become defining attributes of job selection for employees
There will be an increase in collectivism and a growth in community health models
Manufacturing of healthcare supplies (e.g. drugs, medical devices) will increasingly be produced in the countries where goods are sold (i.e. the US will manufacture drugs that are sold in the US)
Border closings, travel restrictions, and polarization of the media will increase nationalism and stymie global cooperation
Governments will increasingly intervene in markets and businesses (e.g. funding and promoting innovation in the private sector)
