Expression of interest: Cora Health’s Patient Communication Framework |
The Patients Association is working in partnership with Picker and Cora Health to review and redesign Cora Health’s Patient Communication Framework, looking at when and how they communicate with patients, as well as the purpose and content of those communications.
Cora Health is an independent provider of healthcare services to the NHS across England. Specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) therapies, pain management, rheumatology, podiatry and diagnostic imaging, they operate from more than 150 locations including local clinics, leisure centres and health hubs, treating over one million people each year.
We are looking for ten (10) patients who live with an MSK condition or have received care within a community MSK service in the past 1-2 years. MSK conditions include arthritis, low back pain, neck pain and other spinal conditions, joint conditions, muscle, tendon and nerve conditions. The service that you have used does not need to have a MSK service provided by Cora.
Those selected will be expected to take part in two (2) online focus groups to provide feedback and input into Cora Health's Patient Communications Framework. Focus groups will take between 2.5-3 hours and are currently scheduled for 10th August and 10th September.
This is an expression of interest form. By completing it, you are telling us that you would like to take part, but it does not guarantee that you will be selected. We will review all applications and contact everyone to let them know whether they have been shortlisted.
To take part, you must live in England, and all shortlisted candidates will be interviewed via a phone call. If selected to take part, you will be eligible for an £80 voucher for participating in each focus group. The £80 payments are conditional upon active participation. Participants must agree to the participation requirements in the consent form and demonstrate meaningful engagement throughout the focus group.
We carefully choose patients for all our work to ensure that we have a diverse representation that covers a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. We can only choose a small number of people, but we have many other opportunities you can get involved in.
We would love you to sign up as a free Patients Association member if you are not already. You can do so on our website here.
If you wish to take part in our focus group, we will collect your name, contact information and demographic data for the purpose of forming a panel. All the information will be stored securely and confidentially in line with the Patients Association’s data privacy policy. Your name and personal details will not be shared with any third parties. You are free to exit the survey at any time – you can do this by closing your browser.
We really appreciate your interest and if we don’t work with you this time, we look forward to working with you soon.
The deadline for completing this expression of interest is Friday 24th July at 10am.
