1. Group Information

Completing a community group volunteer day at Auckland Zoo gives you a unique opportunity to work alongside keepers for the day. In general we can take groups of up to 12 volunteers at any one time, though most jobs require 8-10 volunteers. Teams can be doing a range of jobs from cleaning moats, weeding enclosures, collecting pinecones, helping with flora pest control, to washing windows and signs. It really depends on the time of year and what jobs come in from our keepers.
