Survey questions

With this survey, we hope to learn if and how your business or nonprofit organization plans to engage (or is considering engagement) with customers or clients regarding the Census. Please respond to this survey no later than Friday August 16.

The 2020 Census will take place on April 1, 2020 to gather information for the next decade about the characteristics of people living in Colorado.

Information from the Census is important to Colorado for the following reasons:

Dollars - Over $13 billion is provided to Colorado based on Census data, which is equivalent to $2,300 per Coloradan counted.
Data - Nonprofit and for-profit businesses use Census data to better understand the communities they serve. Census data informs where these companies locate operations, how they assess community needs, and understand their markets.
Democracy- Census data determines how seats in the U.S. House of Representatives

Please include your contact information in your survey response if you would like periodic updates about the Census including information about the new Census Outreach Grant Program through the Department of Local Affairs.
