As above, clicking on any of these options does not obligate you in any way LAND RESEARCH COMMITTEEDescription: working with real estate agents who can find the proper records, or independently, Locating privately owned properties literally adjacent to Parker River with road access and a similar size of dry ground area (find out the size) Contacting people who own land, getting other organizations involved, etc. HISTORICAL PRESERVATION COMMITTEE:All that’s involved with determining if THP can be preserved for historical, cultural or artistic significance. FUNDRAISING may involve: researching what we need short and long term for raising funds, including regulations and guidelines for non profits. overseeing the events and projects that are suggested to raise funds, or creating our own. (Sub-committees can be formed as needed) BUILDING COMMITTEE: may involve: looking into what it takes to preserve the house for now – costs, materials, labor, treatments, etc. to restore it (if we are in charge) and maintain it. PR/MARKETING: Press, social media, radio interviews, press releases, web content, collateral (stickers, T-shirts, photo prints,etc), TPH Coffee Table book group (collecting artwork, photos, stories & designing book) MEMBERSHIP: record - keeping of members, keeping contacts current, recruiting folks with needed talents and skills if we don’t already have them, potential clearinghouse for disbursing information to members.
