The City of Rancho Santa Margarita is eligible to receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  HUD funding is used to provide services and improvements which serve low- and moderate-income persons.  To receive CDBG funds, the City is required to prepare a strategic plan that identifies priority housing and community needs primarily for the City's low- and moderate-income residents.  The City is currently seeking input to help prioritize the type of programs for which the funding may be used during the next five years.
