Entrust Research & Recruiting LLC and Bentley University are recruiting College students for a study about learning habits of students who took an Introductory Psychology or Sociology course in the Fall of 2012.
This study will take about one hour and will be conducted between February 4 and February 29, 2013. The interview will be conducted in the students study environment. Students will receive $100 for their participation.
The data that we collect will only be used to help our client build a stronger learning platform. During the study, we’ll ask you to provide opinions and feedback on your experience in the Introductory Psychology or Sociology courses.
Your "study environment" should be wherever you perform the majority of your studying for classes. This should generally be where you keep or bring your study materials such as a library, dorm room, home office, etc.
During the interviews, we will ask you some questions about how you studied for the Introductory Psychology or Sociology course and will ask you to show us materials that you used for exams and to keep track of assignments. These could include electronic or paper versions of any or all of the following: planners, study guides, class handouts, syllabi, note cards, textbooks, or class notes. If you used any software or online products to study or keep track of your assignments, we will ask you to show us the products and walk us through the process that you used to enter the information.
To be eligible, you must be willing to have 2-3 researchers visit your study environment for the duration of the interview. A researcher from our staff will lead you through the interview and we will videotape the entire interview. The recordings will only be used by the Bentley Design & Usability Center and our client to improve technology learning systems.
If you are interested in being considered to participate, please answer the pre-screening survey questions.
The data collected will be used solely for this project and your responses are confidential.
This demographic survey should take less than 5 minutes of your time. All qualified participants will be contacted via phone and email for scheduling. Please respond only once. If you do not receive a response from us, please do not take it personal – we need a mix of demographics per study. We will keep you in mindfor future paid studies!
Please note that you must fill in your contact information (Name, Phone & Email) in order to be consideredfor the research (the survey remains anonymous without that information).
