Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey

Channel Men’s Shed Inc is committed to ensuring that our shed is somewhere where everyone feels supported.

National suicide figures show on average, six men take their lives in Australia each day (Beyond Blue, 2019). The Shed is dedicated to supporting members of our community when times are tough.  We are working with Relationships Australia Tasmania to identify and safely strengthen support networks, raise awareness and build skills and resilience to improve community mental health and wellbeing and prevent suicide in our community.

We would like to invite you to complete our Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey, which is open now through until the end of August. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and can be done either electronically by following this link or by completing the paper survey available in the shed and leaving it in the marked box.

Our Relationships Australia Project Officer will ensure that individual responses are kept confidential and provide only de-identified data to the Shed Committee. This data will be used to develop appropriate and relevant actions designed to improve our community mental health.

By sharing your opinions and making your voices heard, you help guide us as to how and where to focus efforts to continue improving our Shed.

If you have any questions or would like assistance completing the survey, please feel free to speak to a member of the Committee.

We look forward to any feedback and ideas you may have.
