Libraries are taking on an ever expanding role within the communities they serve. With that in mind, and knowing that our building is almost 50 years old, we are planning an expansion and modernization. Our goals are to become ADA compliant, add more books, improve lighting, enlarge and modernize the building and expand the services we offer.
Already, the Bremen Library provides a host of free services to our community. Members can borrow books and DVDs by browsing  our collection or through inter-library loans. We offer access to the internet and Cloud Library as well as free tech support every other Saturday morning. Passes for museums and state parks are available. The meeting room has art openings, information programs, club meetings and Coastal Senior College classes. We have an inviting children's section as well as a section featuring books about Maine. These are just a sampling of our many services and programs. Please visit our website at bremenlibrary.org.
This is your library and we sincerely hope you will help us to make it serve you better. We welcome all your ideas and suggestions. We respect your privacy and assure you that all information will be kept in the strictest confidence and used only to help us plan.
