Welcome
Thank you very much for participating in the Community Mental Health Workforce Survey! This is an opportunity for you to have a voice on the issues affecting you as a worker in Community Mental Health (CMH) or as a mental health worker in the NDIS.  We know you're busy, and this should just take 15-20 minutes to complete.

Is this survey for me?

This survey is for workers who are, or have been, employed in programs or organisations delivering non-clinical/ psychosocial mental health supports.

These programs include
- Mental Health Community Support Services (MHCSS)/ ICSP
- Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHAMS)
- Partners in Recovery (PIR)
- Day 2 Day Living
- Mental Health Respite: Carers Support
- Primary Health Network (PHN) programs
- NDIS funded supports

Haven’t I done this already?

We hope so! One purpose of this survey is to map the changing nature of the CMH and NDIS workforce until the full roll-out of the NDIS in July 2019.  As such, we are surveying the workforce multiple times. If you did participate in another round, the unique identifier you provide in the first question helps us to track your experience in the workforce over time.

If you didn't take part other rounds don't worry, we would still like you to participate in this round.

We’d strongly encourage you to participate in future surveys if possible as it will help us build a more accurate picture of the workforce in transition.

What else?

This survey is a collaboration between the ASU and Mental Health Victoria. The answers you provide will guide these organisations in their response to the changing mental health sector in Victoria.

The survey is voluntary and any information you provide will be immediately anonymized.

Your employer will NOT have access to the information provided in this survey.

Thanks again!
Longitudinal data identification

The data you provide will help us track how the CMH and NDIS workforce is changing over time, and in turn, guide us on how to best respond to these changes.

In order to track this data we need to be able to identify survey participants. To allow this, but still make sure your responses can be confidential, we’re asking you to create a unique identifier using:

1.       The last 4 numbers of your mobile number

2.       The first 2 letters of the first school you attended

3.       The first letter of your last name

For example: Jen Planck went to Marama Primary School and her mobile number is 0411 444 555 - her ID is 4555MAP.

You’ll use this same identifier each time you do the survey.
