Come test drive your long course meter swimming races in a mutually supportive, low-key time trial atmosphere, in a brand new pool facility!  A great tune-up for the PacMaster Long Course Championships and USMS Nationals!

Entries:  The time-trial heats will be swum by distance (not by stroke) and rotated through several heats of 50-100-200 distances until all swimmers have completed their swims or until 11:30 am, whichever comes first.  E.g., in past years we started with four heats of 50s (your choice of stroke), followed by 3 heats of 100s, followed by 2 heats of 200s.  When you are ready to swim, you pick an empty starting block/lane for the distance being swum.  We then repeated the cycle of 50s, 100s, and 200s.  The time trials are intended to gain experience in swimming long course and WILL NOT count for records or top ten. All times are unofficial.  Unofficial backstroke start ledges are available upon request.

The event is $5 and/or donation at the door.   Cal Maritime will accept cash or personal checks made out to:  CMAM Swimming
There is also a small fee for parking  (see below for more information).  The parking meters accept cash ($1-$5 or credit cards).  Additional parking information is located below.

Driving directions and map 
From San Francisco or Points South:  Take I-80 east until you cross the Carquinez Bridge (Toll).  After the bridge, immediately take the first exit on the right.  At the next traffic light, take a left onto Maritime Academy Dr.  The Aquatics Center is located at the far end of the first building on your right. 

From Fairfield or Points North:  Take I-80 west towards San Francisco until you are in Vallejo.  Take Exit 29A, Maritime Academy Drive.  This is the last exit before crossing the Carquinez Bridge.  If you miss this exit, it will cost you a bridge toll to get back.  After the exit, proceed straight through the traffic light onto Maritime Academy Dr.  The Aquatics Center is located at the far end of the first building on your right.

Parking:  Once on Maritime Academy Dr, the first street on your right will take you to parking in the back of the facility.  The next right is limited additional parking and is directly in front of the pool.  Each of these parking areas are $3 for two hours or $5 for four hours.  If you drive a little further down Maritime Academy Drive to the next stop sign, additional parking (free) is available on Country Lane Dr.  There is a walking path that will take you up to the pool from Country Lane Dr.  In the event that overflow parking is needed, the parking lot on the right as soon as you enter Maritime Academy Drive will be made available.

Facility:  8 lane x 50 m outdoor pool (6 competition, 2 warm-up/down).

Locker Rooms:  Men and Women's locker rooms, showers, and toilet facilities are available.  Lockers are available (no locks provided).
