McDonald's/National Urban League College Leaders Program (2027)

Application and Selection Process:
  • Transcript: Submit a college transcript to verify academic excellence.
  • Resume: Provide a current resume highlighting leadership experiences, and involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • Recommendation Letter: One letter from a faculty member that speaks to the candidate's leadership potential, communication skills, and commitment to community service.
  • Essay or Video Submission: A one-page essay or a 3-minute video answering the question, "How you plan to leverage this leadership development program to drive inclusive and equitable change and impact the future of civil rights, social justice, and economic opportunity?"
  • Selection Criteria: Applications will be evaluated based on demonstrated leadership potential, academic excellence, commitment to community service and civic engagement, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a compelling personal statement.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • College Junior or Senior
  • Serving leadership role in a campus club or organization
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

The program dates are February 10-13, 2027 in New York City at NULHQ.
