Please add me to the following CEWD Community Group(s), which I understand to be for CEWD members only.
AI in WFD
– This group will bring practitioners together to discuss how AI and Gen AI are making their way into the workforce development space. The group will provide sparks of thinking around who is doing what, ethical considerations of AI, skills gaps considerations, talent matching and the like
Data Centers and Energy Workforce Development
– This group is a bit unique, but with the rise of data centers and the connection to the required workforce, we have been asked to explore interest in thinking partnerships in this space. There is a blank agenda canvas to be created!
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
– This group welcomes those who support equity programs within their organization, both internally and externally. That is, those who are working to build inclusive talent pipelines as well as those supporting inclusive workforce cultures.
Educators of Energy Curriculum
– We welcome educators of all grade levels who are teaching or interested in teaching energy curriculum, especially CEWD’s Energy Industry Fundamentals 2.0, and those who want to better understand the new competencies and frameworks related to the new Energy and Natural Resources Career Cluster.
Training and Development
– Calling those who are responsible for corporate training and employee development. This is a post-hire focused training group that will address what’s needed to support, sustain, and enhance modern and dynamic skills and development training.
Troops to Energy Jobs
– This group convenes military recruiters and those who want to learn more about recruiting and hiring Veterans and military spouses. The group may also engage in special work products, including exhibiting at military-focused trade shows and developing relevant collateral to support military hiring.
Skills USA Challenges
– With the adoption of the new Energy and Natural Resources Career Cluster, the industry now has an opportunity to explore how we might engage in new student-focused energy related competitions. This group will identify and shape what those challenges might look like. This is a working group, more so than a learning community.
Workforce Planning and Data Analytics
– This is a long-standing community within CEWD for those who want to compare notes with peers on what gets measured and how the results are utilized to manage effective planning for future workforce needs.
Workforce Development Maturity Model
– This users’ group will discuss applications of the new Workforce Development Maturity Model created by Deloitte for CEWD, including how companies can accelerate workforce tactics to advance on the differential scales. Each convening will focus on one of the eight pillars of the guiding document.
Workforce Policy Education
– This group is for individuals who want to better understand federal policies that impact workforce development and explore how to adopt some of these issues in their portfolios. It is also for those who lead external workforce efforts that want to better understand how to take advantage of existing workforce development programs in their communities.
