SAIL- (Stay Active & Independent for Life) is an evidence-based balance, strength, and flexibility fitness program for older adults (65+) with a primary focus on fall prevention. The program is designed for any ability level and can be performed either standing or sitting
Strength- represents a full body workout utilizing a variety of different equipment
Alive & Active- focuses on strengthening muscles used for activities of daily living of adults 55+. This 45-minute class incorporates strength training through the use of hand weights, resistance bands, and coordination exercises targeted to strengthen muscles used during everyday activities
Chair Yoga- is a gentle, low-impact class designed for adults 55+ that focuses on improving flexibility, balance, posture, and overall mobility
Boot Camp- is a six-week full-body transformation focused on building strength, boosting metabolism, and elevating mood via morning sessions that will energize your day
Rise & Grind- is a 45-minute strength and cardio circuit designed to boost heart health and target all major muscle groups.
Iron & Oar is a 30-minute training combining rowing and strength training to elevate cardiovascular fitness and build muscle
Pilates/BARRE is a low-impact workout blending Pilates, ballet, and strength with high reps and cardio bursts to tone muscle as well as to energize both body and mind
HIIT- is designed to burn calories, build strength, and boost endurance in fast-paced, powerful intervals that can be perfect for all fitness levels
Yoga Flow- is a breath-centered class connects poses in a smooth sequence, enhancing strength, flexibility, and balance while promoting mindful movement and tension release. It is suitable for all levels, offering options to move at your own pace
Yoga Sculpt- is a full-body workout combining yoga flow, strength training, and cardio to build muscle and improve balance, endurance, mindfulness and flexibility
Build & Burn- is a circuit-style fitness class that incorporates strength, cardio, core, and stretching for a full body workout
Personal Training- at the Windom Area Health Wellness Center is ideal for clients ages 15+ who are interested in improved functional movement, weight loss, weight management, active aging, or strength training
MMA Fit- takes a multi-pronged approach to fitness by incorporating strength, endurance, and agility training into high intensity workouts guaranteed to produce results
Tae Kwon Do- is not just for learning methods of self-defense it is also a great workout for all ages and fitness levels. The art of Tae Kwon Do also focuses on building self-confidence and increases coordination
Wellness Center Amenties- i.e. treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, weight machines, etc.
National Diabetes Prevention Program- year-long program focused on helping people with prediabetes prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes through healthy eating, increased physical activity, and stress managemen
Chronic Disease Self-Management Program- a six-week, peer-led workshop developed at Stanford University that teaches skills to manage long-term conditions like diabetes, arthritis, and heart disease. It is often marketed under names like "Living Well" or "Better Choices, Better Health
Walk With Ease- an arthritis-focused, evidence-based physical activity program developed by the Arthritis Foundation, designed to help participants decrease pain and improve overall physical functioning
Self-Measured Blood Pressure Monitoring- a program in which patients are taught to measure their own blood pressure outside of a clinical setting, combined with clinical support (such as training or coaching) to improve hypertension control
Matter of Balance- a program aimed at reducing the fear of falling and increasing activity levels among older adults, often including chair-based strength and balance exercises
Freedom From Smoking- a tobacco cessation program designed to help smokers quit permanently. It offers structured support, covering smoking addiction, medication, and stress management over seven weeks, with virtual and online options available.
