Participant Registration

This is the third annual WWI event on Governors Island, Sept 15-16, 2018. All participants must register in advance. There will be NO walk-on registration on Saturday for those that plan to camp out. Only participants who are reenactors or providing living history displays are permitted to camp out, with exceptions at the discretion of the organizer.

Registration will close for driving onto the Island on 15 August. Registration will close for camping on 10 September. No participant may bring a vehicle onto the island for one day. If you are only coming for Saturday or Sunday and not staying on the island overnight, you must park in Manhattan, or take public transportation, to the Battery Maritime Building. All participants must be approved in advance who are planning to drive onto the island. Preference is given to those drivers who are carpooling and bringing one or more reenactors to the event. A waitlist may be necessary for vehicle entry.
