By the end of this session, attendants will be able to
1. Identify health care significance of critically ill patients
2. Show prevalence of critical ill patients with pulmonary (respiratory failure) and cardiovascular (myocardial infarction) decompensations
3. Identify important diagnostic tools for diagnosing respiratory failure and NSTEMI
4. Identify treatment and support options for respiratory failure and NSTEMI
5. Discuss ongoing assessment to determine escalation of care
