Introduction

Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) is committed to ensuring the adoption of evidence-based practice (EBP) throughout the speech pathology profession in Australia. EBP is critical to the provision of quality and effective services for individuals and communities.

To support members to access external evidence, SPA has introduced an exclusive member benefit – access to CINAHL (Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature) for a 12-month trial period. CINAHL is a database of articles from over 40 journals relevant to speech pathology and allied health, including the full suite of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) journals.

This survey is for SPA members and Association staff who have accessed the CINAHL database.

The aim of this survey is to seek feedback from members regarding access to and use of CINAHL as part of their SPA member benefits.

This survey is expected to take no more than 5-10 minutes to complete.

Responses will be reported as deidentified summary data (e.g., common themes). The deidentified information will be used by SPA to evaluate the 12-month CINAHL trial and to inform the development of future education and resources.

If you are willing to be contacted regarding your feedback, please provide your contact details at the end of the survey. Please note, this will make your responses identifiable to SPA. If you prefer to remain anonymous, do not provide your details.

Proceeding with this survey indicates your consent for your deidentified data to be used by SPA for the purposes described above.
