As you are aware, the Canadian Institute of Food Science & Technology is a volunteer-driven organization.
Each program year, CIFST engages the participation and support of volunteers in our annual membership renewal campaign. We refer to this kind of volunteerism as "micro-volunteering."
The time commitment for volunteers for the membership renewal campaign is approximately 4 to 6 hours and involves following up with non-renewed member by phone or e-mail.
