Leadership Academy GoalsThe goal for the upcoming leadership training will be for both CHWs and CHW allies to convene for the duration of two days.
- This workshop will be a hands-on experience that will encompass various areas of CHW professional development along with the unique roles of allies to support CHW leadership development.
- CHW’s will have the opportunity to identify the skills and qualities needed for successful leadership and augment their current skills.
- As a result, CHWs will increase leadership ability, build connections, and increase their awareness of national CHW initiatives and professional CHW groups to enrich individual and collective professional capacity.
- Allies will increase their understanding of their role to support and engage CHWs in leadership opportunities.
