By the end of this session, attendants will be able to
1. Describe the mechanism of atrial fibrillation.
2. Identify reversible risk factors to atrial fibrillation
3. Explain important key factors to choosing rhythm vs rate control
4. Discuss anti-arrhythmic medications used for treatment of atrial fibrillation
5. Discuss anticoagulation therapy: warfarin vs novel anticoagulants
6. Evaluate indications for ablation therapy.
