Post-Implementation Survey |
The goal of this survey is to gather community feedback on the recent Oneheʻe Avenue roadway improvements and their impact on safety, accessibility, and usability
Estimated completion time: 3 minutes

In August 2023, The County of Maui (COM) Department of Public Works (DPW) completed the Oneheʻe Avenue Roadway Improvements Project. The goal of this project was to improve safety for all roadway users along the corridor by:
- Slowing down traffic through the neighborhood
- Providing separated bicycle facilities
- Improving visibility and accessibility for pedestrians
As part of the project, several improvements were constructed along the corridor:
- Pavement reconstruction within the COM right-of-way
- Rebuilt the roadway with new raised concrete sidewalks and separated bike lanes
- Improved visibility and safety of crossing pedestrians and bicyclists
- Provided dedicated parking for residents and park users
- Replaced and improved underground utilities
- Updated street features including curb ramps, driveway aprons, signage, and striping
Now with the project constructed, we’d love to hear your thoughts! Your feedback helps us continue building streets that are safe, accessible, and welcoming to all users of our community.
