The Ontario based Nutrition Oregon Campaign is working to improve food security in the Treasure Valley. We’re exploring programs that incorporate food security into affordable housing developments, one of which is located in Ontario, Oregon. We’re considering two options for a kitchen space that we’d appreciate your thoughts, preferences, and opinions on.

1. Learning Kitchen, where people can take classes on cooking, nutrition, gardening, food safety and other educational interests through hands-on kitchen use. In the future this could include growing foods at an on-site community garden or hosting a food pantry.

2. Commercial Kitchen, where community members, small business owners, farmers market vendors, and others can rent kitchen space and equipment to prepare and store food, receive business development training, and network with other food professionals.

We’d love your opinion to help us better serve the community. Please take 5-10 minutes to answer the following questions.
