Welcome to the 2024 NHC Patient Satisfaction Survey

Dear participant,

The National Haemophilia Council (NHC) is conducting International External Clinical Audits of Haemophilia services in the 3 Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centres in Ireland in May 2024.

The audits will be conducted on the following Dates:
21st May, 2024: National Coagulation Centre, St James’s Hospital (NCC)
The NCC provides services to adult patients with Haemophilia and other Bleeding Disorders

22nd May, 2024: Comprehensive Care Centre, Cork University Hospital
Cork University Hospital provides service to patients (adults, paediatric and obstetric) with Haemophilia and other Bleeding Disorders.

23rd May, 2024 Paediatric Coagulation Centre, Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin
CHI at Crumlin provides service to paediatric patients with Haemophilia and other Bleeding Disorders.

As part of the audits the NHC is conducting a survey for Patients / Carers with Haemophilia and other Bleeding Disorders

Your survey answers will be returned to independent auditor representing the National Haemophilia Council, who is based in Canada, and will remain confidential. Your answers will be anonymous, and the only personal information collected will be which centre you attend. The Care Centres will not see the survey responses.

We encourage you to complete the survey before 8th May, 2024. By so doing, you will give valuable information on the provision of Haemophilia services in Ireland.

If you have already completed a survey from the Irish Haemophilia Society in this month, then please do not complete this survey as to avoid duplication of responses.

If you have any queries regarding the survey, please do not hesitate to contact the National Haemophilia Council on 01 7785161 or your Comprehensive Care Centre.
Yours sincerely

Mr. Brian Fitzgerald,
Chairperson, National Haemophilia Council
