Distinguished Global Achievement Award
Description: The Distinguished Global Impact Award shall honor an International OTA member who has dedicated their career to orthopaedic trauma and whose overall contributions to the profession have made outstanding, long-lasting and impactful improvements to orthopaedic trauma education and research, and patient care.
Criteria:
(a) Orthopaedic trauma surgeon for a minimum of 15 years beyond training (may be a current surgeon or retired)
(b) Overall demonstrated leadership and outstanding contributions in the field of orthopaedic trauma
(c) Recognized by his/her peers as an outstanding clinician, researcher, teacher, and mentor

Nomination Process:
Candidates must be nominated by an OTA member.
The nomination packet must include one or more letters of support by OTA member(s) addressing the above criteria, and the nominee’s curriculum vitae.
