Coleraine has been allocated £20million as part of a UK Government’s Plan for Neighbourhoods Programme.

Arts, culture and heritage has been identified as an important component part of any regeneration activity within Coleraine. As such, we are keen to hear the views of those involved in arts, culture and heritage activities in the town or in places where people from the town engage with these activities.

We are seeking your views on the future of Coleraine town. Your feedback will help shape a town centre that is vibrant, welcoming, and fit for the future.

It feels like a strong ecosystem with lots of grassroots creativity and arts, culture and heritage activities

There is a good base but it is patchy. Some groups and activities are thriving while others are struggling.

The ecosystem seems fragile; funding cuts, cost of living pressures, lack of appropriate venues make it hard to sustain.
