Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service Perception Survey 2026

Developing our 2028 - 2032 Community Risk Management Plan

Cheshire Fire Authority’s 2024-2028 Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) is a four-year strategy that sets out how Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service will improve effectiveness, address key fire and emergency risks, and keep communities safe. It focuses on increasing prevention and protection activity while delivering a more effective emergency response across the county.

Next year the Authority will begin developing its new CRMP, which will cover the four years from 2028 to 2032. Once formalised, the draft plan will be subject to wider public consultation, which is expected to take place in Autumn 2027.

Ahead of this, the Authority is carrying out this survey to better understand:
  • The current risks across Cheshire
  • Public perception of key fire and rescue risks
  • Where the public and stakeholders believe we should prioritise our activity
  • What the public and stakeholders expect from their fire and rescue service
Please answer as many of the questions as you feel able to. If you have any questions about the survey, please email consultation@cheshirefire.gov.uk

This survey will be open until Friday 21 August 2026.
