Local First Nations Artists/Creatives

Cassowary Coast Regional Council in partnership with Arts Qld through Regional Arts Development Fund present Cassowary Coast Indigenous Art Show 2025.

Now is the time to enhance and celebrate First Nations Art and Culture through showcasing the unique talented artists/creatives residing or connected to the Cassowary Coast Region.

Council will host an exhibition of artwork and workshops by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander First Nations Artists and Makers who are emerging or established artists.

This event is to be held in Innisfail Shire Hall during Reconciliation Week for one day on Wednesday 28 May 2025 from 10.30am to 6.30pm

Practical Business Application (POS, Invoicing, Simplifying Processes and Administration to support your business)

Artists can submit up to 4 pieces of art work/ creatives , if you want to submit more please advise how many

Artwork /Creative can be painting, drawing, printing, sketching, weaving, sculpture, ceramic, handmade Jewellery, Fabric, Fibrework in any style or medium

Due to space limitations each artist will have 1 x 3 metre table to display works

All Artwork presented is original work by Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander artists/creatives

Please ensure your artwork presented is clean and ready for display

We encourage all applicant to engage with their work in a spirit of cultural respect and awareness

Stall holders must conduct themselves respectfully with fellow artists, staff and community in a professional manner at all times

Agree that Cassowary Coast Regional Council is not responsible for damage or breakage of works

Agree that Cassowary Coast Regional Council reserves the right to photograph artwork for promotion and marketing purposes
