Charting the Cs 2027 Main Conference Call for Proposals (CFPs)
We are excited to announce that Charting the Cs 2027 will be at the Madden's Resort again this year.
This year’s theme is “Inclusion Is Not a Mystery When You Have Accessible Opportunities!"
Conference Dates and Times
The conference will open with keynote presentations by highly regarded professionals in the field, followed by presentations, breakouts, make-and-take and poster sessions focused on supporting students with disabilities, especially students with low-incidence disabilities.
The Charting the Cs Conference Leadership Committee is committed to providing an accessible experience for presenters and attendees.
The call for proposals reflects accessible standards and expectations. Additionally, the call for proposals will emphasize the connection between the Council for Exceptional Children’s (CEC) four pillars of High Leverage Practices (HLPs) for special education educators: Collaboration; Assessment; Social, Emotional & Behavioral Practices; and Instruction. The HLPs combined with Minnesota’s Academic Standard Content Areas will provide the basis for the Charting the Cs presentations.
All Presentations will be 60 or 90 minutes in length, with a 15-minute question and answer (Q & A) time frame included. All Make-and-Take sessions will be 90 minutes in length. Presentations and Make-and-Take sessions will be presented in person on the conference site.
Up to two (2) presenters on a Presentation or Make-and-Take team will have their Main Conference registration fee waived. The registration fee does not include lodging. Any additional presenters, beyond the two-person team, will need to pay for their own registration.
Proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026, and must be submitted using this Survey Monkey proposal form.
If you have any questions, please contact chartingthecs@brightworksmn.org.
Presenters must agree to use the Charting the Cs accessibility protocol in preparing, presenting, and supporting the presentation. Understanding and agreement is indicated by checking the corresponding boxes at the end of the proposal.
