Council for Global Immigration Webinar Program

The Council for Global Immigration (CFGI) is seeking submissions of topic proposals for the CFGI Webinar Program.

The Webinar Program is designed for CFGI members, who are primarily in-house immigration professionals from leading companies, universities, and research institutions operating globally.

If you are chosen as a presenter, you will enhance your reputation as an industry expert, have the opportunity to influence industry practices, and improve the profile of your organization.

Audience Makeup
The majority of our audience are in-house immigration professionals from 250+ member organizations. Our education opportunities attract a variety of immigration specialists, including HR professionals, in-house counsel, immigration paralegals and coordinators, global mobility managers, and compliance administrators. Although some participants may be attorneys, your presentation should be directed to in-house professionals without legal education. Please note that CFGI makes all webinar recordings available on our member-only website. By presenting a webinar, you consent to allow CFGI to use the recorded webinar indefinitely.

Webinar Topics
CFGI seeks proposals that emphasize informative, practical and forward looking programming to help professionals advance to the next level in their career, stay compliant with immigration laws and regulations, access talent and compete in the 21st century. We specifically seek presentations that will help professionals navigate the rapidly changing regulatory landscape in the U.S. and globally.

All webinars must allow the opportunity for attendees to ask questions, either on a rolling basis or at the end of the session. Use of case studies, templates, and other dynamic and interactive presentation methods is encouraged. Presentations must be educational and not a platform for product or service promotion.

Who May Submit
Presenting a high-quality webinar to CFGI members is a great way to demonstrate thought-leadership and expertise in your professional area. Any qualified immigration professional may submit a proposal. Although CFGI membership is not required in order to submit a proposal, preference will be given to sessions that include at least one in-house immigration professional as a speaker.

Duration
Webinars will primarily be 60 minutes in length, however the actual presentation should last about 45 minutes with the remainder of time reserved for questions. The main visual for the program are the PowerPoint slides. We welcome your ideas on making webinars more engaging.

Submission
Your proposal must be submitted online via Survey Monkey. As you will not be able to save progress on responses in Survey Monkey, you may use the pdf version of the survey to see the questions and prepare responses. For any proposal questions please email Justin Storch at Justin.Storch@cfgi.org and Olga Kolodina at Olga.Kolodina@cfgi.org.
