MGAN Travel Grant awards are available for two purposes:

1) The top priority for funding assistance is to help faculty (and possibly graduate students) attend a regional or national MGAN training workshop to learn about the GENI-ACT bioinformatics platform; and

2) As funding is available, IMG-ACT and/or GENI-ACT users can apply for funds to attend a national conference for the purpose of promoting the mission of MGAN (e.g., promoting IMG-ACT or the new GENI-ACT) in the form of an oral or poster presentation. Evidence of the presentation must be provided to MGAN before a reimbursement of expenses is provided.

There is no specific deadline to apply. Please email Lori Scott (MGAN director) at once the application is completed.
