The New York State 2017 Clinical Conference on HIV and Hepatitis C will take place on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester (125 East Main Street, Rochester, NY 14604). The goal of this conference is to enhance the capacity of New York State clinicians to provide high quality and clinically sound HIV and HCV prevention and care.

This year's conference theme is "Connecting the Pieces in Comprehensive Care." While it is critical for providers to be aware of new innovations in HIV and HCV prevention and care, there is also a need to discuss how to incorporate them into clinical practice. Our goal is facilitate a thoughtful discussion on how these different services can complement each other in a comprehensive matter to provide high quality care for those who need it most.

How to Submit an Abstract

Due to the clinical focus of our conference, all presentations must be geared towards medical providers (e.g. physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists, and pharmacists). At least one medical provider must be a presenter per abstract.

Abstracts may be submitted for either a 60 minute or 90 minute presentation session. A total of eight abstracts will be selected for breakout session presentations. Applicants may submit more than one abstract for consideration. Abstracts that utilize a combination of interactive methodologies (mixed methods, case studies, lecture, video, audience response, etc.) are ideal for this conference. Please note that 90 minute sessions are highly competitive. Additional information regarding credentials and financial disclosures may be requested for CME application purposes if your abstract is selected. Accepted abstract presenters must submit their presentation slides four weeks before the conference date for CME review and approval.

Suggested abstract topic areas include (but not limited to) the following:

- HIV and/or HCV clinical research
- Implementation of Governor's Plan to End AIDS Blueprint
