Awarded to an economic development professional or team that has demonstrated a significant commitment to the region’s clean energy sector through initiatives that promote regional economic growth, foster innovation and advance sustainability.

Emerging Leader in Clean Energy and Innovation Award
Awarded annually to a young person (under 40) who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing the clean energy sector and innovation within their community. The recipient will have demonstrated a commitment to advancing clean energy initiatives through projects and/or advocacy.

Community Clean Energy Champion Award
Awarded annually to a local company, not-for-profit organization, or association that has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the clean energy sector by building strong partnerships, engaging actively in the community, and advocating for the regional clean energy sector. This award recognizes the recipient’s dedication to fostering collaboration between businesses, residents, organizations and governments to build up the regional clean energy sector through innovative projects, awareness and education efforts, and advocacy.
