About the event

Join us for our in-person CEDAW event.

The event is from 11am to 2pm on Tuesday 3rd February at the Conference space, Fourways 2, Dilston Terrace, Amble NE65 0DT.

CEDAW is the United Nations Convention for the Elimination of Discrimination against Women. Governments need to submit their commitments to gender equality and this event is part of the consultation to influence the UK response.

You will have the chance to contribute to the civil society report (List of Issues) we are submitting to the CEDAW Committee. This event is open to all women, women's organisations, and allies who have a common goal of advancing equality and human rights for women and girls.
