Alumni Council
Dear CDU Alumnus,
The Charles R. Drew Alumni Council (CDUAC) is now accepting nominations for council membership. You may submit your application using this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CDUAlumniCouncil or access it from the Alumni Webpage https://www.cdrewu.edu/Alumni. Please also feel free to forward the application link to your CDU alumni peers. The minimum requirements to serve as a council member include:
1. Nominee has to be a CDUAA member, to join please go to http://www.cdrewu.edu/Alumni and click on Register CDUAA
2. Commitment to CDU Mission and Values
3. Commitment to actively serve on the Council for two years
4. Strong commitment to underserved communities
5. Ability to recruit alumni volunteers for future programs and events
Ability to make and/or encourage financial support from alumni to the University and actively participate in fundraising activities
The CDU Alumni Council is the governing body of the CDUAA comprised of 12-21 elected members. Members of the Alumni Council shall be active participants representing the interest of the Association and the University. The Council leads the efforts of University alumni affairs including Oath and Honors, Mission Maker Campaign, Commencement, Career day, Job shadowing, Student-Alumni Network, and mentorship programs. The Council's work will be instrumental in maintaining the voice and direction of the CDUAA, as well as serve as a communication vehicle to alumni and friends.
