Colorado Digital Learning Solutions (CDLS) is a non-profit that supports Colorado schools and schools districts. CDLS is NOT an online school but works in partnership with schools/school districts. As a CDLS instructor, you are paid as an independent contractor. You will be paid a flat rate per student per semester. The rate paid per student depends on Colorado state funding and monies collected from schools/school districts. CDLS does not deduct taxes from your paycheck, does not pay benefits (such as health insurance) or provide retirement options (such as PERA).
NOTE: CDLS IS NOT SURE ABOUT THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL TEACHERS FOR ANY SCHOOL YEAR. YOUR RESPONSES HERE AND RESUME (IF SENT) WILL BE KEEP ON FILE THROUGH THIS SCHOOL YEAR AND THE NEXT.
