The online nomination period for NAN Board positions is now open.  Only current vote-eligible members (those at the Fellow, Professional and Emeritus levels) are permitted to nominate for the Board positions. The online nomination period will be open from January 13, 2023 to February 24, 2023.

In 2023, the following Board positions are open for nomination:
  • President 2025 - the elected individual will serve as President-Elect for one year. The following year he/she assumes the position of President. The President presides over all meetings of the NAN Board of Directors and serves as spokesperson for NAN. He/she shall maintain oversight regarding the activities of NAN, including the Annual Conference, NAN publications, and representation of NAN and its policies to the general public.
  • Secretary - elected for a term of three years, the Secretary is responsible for keeping the minutes of the Academy and of the Board of Directors’ meetings, seeing that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of the By-laws or as required by law, and in general, perform all duties incidental to the office of Secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to her/him by the President or by the Board of Directors. Also serves as Secretary on the NAN Foundation Board of Trustees.
  • Member-at-Large - with a term of three years, the Member-at-Large performs such duties from time to time as assigned to them by the President or Board of Directors. The Member-At-Large participates as a member of the Board of Directors in supervising, conducting and governing the general affairs and business of the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
