CDI Journal Writing Information:
Any CDI professional or professional in a related field may submit to the CDI Journal. Contributors are expected to check with their organization for permission, if needed, prior to submitting the article with ACDIS.

Journal
articles tend to be 750-1,500 words long and, while the topic is left to the author, each edition of the Journal does center around a particular theme and contributors are encouraged to submit articles related to those themes.
The 2025 deadlines and topics are as follows:

January/February 2026: Provider Engagement and Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Deadline: December 1, 2025
March/April 2026: Clinical and Coding
- Deadline: February 1, 2026
May/June 2026: Denials
- Deadline: April 1, 2026
July/August 2026: Pediatric CDI
- Deadline: June 1, 2026
September/October 2026: Getting Started in CDI
- Deadline: August 1, 2026
November/December 2026: Quality and Population Health Initiatives
- Deadline: October 1, 2026
