ABOUT THE ED-FI TAG
The Ed-Fi Technical Advisory Group (or “TAG” for short) is composed of diverse organizations who meet regularly to provide technical feedback on proposals originating from the Ed-Fi governance process and regular feedback on the Ed-Fi Technology Roadmap.

2020 ED-FI TAG APPLICATION PROCESS
The Ed-Fi Alliance invites interested licensees to complete the application form below. Applications are due by March 31, 2020.

Please note that TAG membership is by organization, and not by individual (see Charter information linked above). The contact information below is not necessary the person who would represent the organization on the TAG.

INSTRUCTIONS

The questions below list core principles that together help define exemplary organizational support for the Ed-Fi mission.  These are the same values found on the TAG space in Ed-Fi TechDocs: https://techdocs.ed-fi.org/display/GOV/TAG+Membership+Processv

For each of the following questions, please summarize briefly the ways in which your  organization meets the criteria.
  • It is best to be detailed where possible - please mention specific projects, contributions, presentations or other community activity specifically.
  • You may also link to online Web pages or other information (for example, contributions to the Ed-Fi Technology Exchange, Ed-Fi Tracker, GitHub, or project-specific documentation, etc.)
The application is intended to make sure the Ed-Fi Alliance is aware of the scope and depth of your organization's knowledge and support for the mission.
4.Commitment: the organization has deployed and/or relies on Ed-Fi standards and technology in its operations or business.
5.Expertise: the organization has developed expertise in the Ed-Fi technology and in domains of knowledge important to the Ed-Fi mission, and shares both kinds of knowledge with the community.
6.Contribution: the organization contributes code and technical artifacts back to the Ed-Fi community.
7.Stewardship: the organization stays up-to-date with the latest versions of the Ed-Fi standards and technology, and observes important community principles around technology contributions and governance, as published by the Ed-Fi Community.
8.Advocacy: the organization advocates for the Ed-Fi technology and community to its peers and to other organizations.
