Thank you for the work that you are doing with infants across our state.

WAC 110-300-0275 requires that infant nurse consultants report back to the Department of Children, Youth & Families about their visits. This will serve as that report. Please come back monthly to this link to report.

As you may be aware, there has not been any data collection in Washington about the benefits of child care health consultation. Nationally, we know that child care health consultation (CCHC) is beneficial to the infants, centers, staff and families that are touched by this service. We would like to be able to show this in Washington State. This survey will adapt over the coming year as we refine what information will be the most helpful in making the case that there should be more attention given to and funding for child care health consultation.

If you have any suggestions, questions or comments please include them in your answers in the survey or send them directly to Jennifer Helseth, Health Systems Analyst, at jennifer.helseth@dcyf.wa.gov or 360-522-6256.
