Fireweed Information Day

The event will run on Sunday 15th Sept at the Clifton Creek Hall. Speakers on the day include local Genoa farmer Rob De Geus and Fireweed expert Luke Pope (from the NSW Dept. of Ag).

Rob will discuss his personal experience with the weed and how the small community of Genoa has made such a difference towards stopping the spread of the weed. Luke Pope works for NSW local land services, based out of Cooma. An engaging speaker, Luke will discuss what Fireweed actually is and how to control it.
