Question Title

Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Midwest CCDC (Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition). The Midwest CCDC is managed by CSSIA, the Center for Systems Security and Information Assurance. Please fill out the requested information in order to apply for participation in a Midwest CCDC State qualifying event.

The entry fee is $500 which will be invoiced at a later date and must be paid no later than two week prior to your state qualifier.

Teams should be available for their respective 2019 Midwest State Qualifying CCDC to be held on a Saturday in February or early March.  A Wildcard CCDC is planned for March 2019 for teams placing 2nd in their respective state qualifiers in order to determine wildcard slots for the regional CCDC. 

Some state qualifiers may be combined depending on the number teams per state applying for the Midwest CCDC.

Only one application per team should be submitted, and only one team should compete from any given campus. Upon receipt, applicant teams will be contacted by your Midwest State CCDC Director for more detailed information. Please note that CSSIA will make every effort to include all applicant teams to the 2019 Midwest State CCDC. However, CSSIA reserves the right to select a portion of the teams from the applicant pool for 2019 Midwest State CCDC qualifiers in the event resources become insufficient to include all teams.  Top teams from the qualifiers are eligible to compete in the 2019 Midwest Erich J. Spengler Regional CCDC at Moraine Valley Community College. There is no entry fee for the Midwest Regional CCDC, but teams travel to the event at their own expense.
