Special Event = Any event open to the public and utilizing public property (park, street, etc.)

A special event that is required to work with the Office of Special Events is a race, parade, festival, market, etc. that is temporary, utilizes public property in the City and County of Denver (including public streets, a park, etc.) and/or requires involvement and approval by more than one city agency.
