Dear Neighbor,
The Lycoming-Clinton Counties Commission for Community Action (STEP), Inc. along with the River Valley Health and Dental Center, requests your help to assess our county’s needs. As a Community Action Agency for the county, STEP, is required to perform a community needs assessment to ensure services offered are aligned with the need of the community. The River Valley Health and Dental Clinic, although not required, also find the community needs assessment to be a valuable tool to identify the strengths and resources available in the community. By performing a comprehensive Community Needs Assessment jointly, a more complete understanding of those needs is gained. Your knowledge and perceptions of the human service needs faced by you and your friends and family in our county are vital to this process.
Please take a few minutes to complete the enclosed survey and provide your perceptions of the problems faced by the entire county and attention we as a community have devoted to those problems. Both sponsoring organizations will use the data as they further develop and refine their funds distribution process.
Please return the survey to STEP no later than May 1, 2018. Thank you very much for your assistance in this project.
