Community Covenant Church Family,
Thank you to everyone for continuing to stand by us during this strange and unprecedented time. Thank you to those who continue to attend church both in person and online, to those who help make these things possible, and to those who provide constructive feedback as well as encouragement as we navigate our Church during these times.
The services for May 24 will be similar to those provided last week. We will be honoring and praying over our graduates during the 10:30 service on Sunday. We do recognize that the Kearney High School graduation ceremony has been pushed back until July and are considering what else we can to do honor our graduates later in the summer when we can possibly all join together again.
The 9:00 service will be reserved for adults 18 years of age and older.
The 10:30 service is planned for families with minor children along with the graduates and their families.
We will monitor the projected attendance for the 10:30 service as we know some people may want to come share this time with our graduates. We ask that you sign up that you will be attending so we can manage capacity and stay within the guidelines of the Clay County Health Department and the Midwest Conference.
Additionally, we will expect households to sit together in a pew, at an acceptably distanced space away from other households. Youth should sit with their families.
For those households who are still unsure about attending in person church services, we will continue to live stream services for you to be able to attend church in the security of your homes.
As always, we welcome your constructive feedback as we continually meet and reevaluate what we should and can be doing to help our Church move forward but also keep everyone safe.
