250 IS COMING! 250 IS COMING! Are We Visitor Ready?
Throughout 2026, the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence from the rule of the King of Great Britain. Chester County anticipates a high level of activity.
Now is the time to prepare, so that we have interactive, inclusive, compelling experiences, to help all people:
1-encounter the many ways in which Chester County participated in and influenced our nation’s founding and
2-elevate everyone’s understanding of our continuing journey to build a more perfect union.
This Visitor Readiness Self-Assessment should help you and your organization prioritize what you have, and what you need. Our aim is to help you prepare to welcome larger numbers of guests and visitors and assure consistent delivery of high-quality experiences.
By return e-mail, we’ll send your individual responses, to use for your own planning. Plus we’ll send all respondents a zoom link to our free 250 Is Coming Visitor Readiness Sessions on 3/22/24 and 4/26/24 at noon. At the zoom sessions, we’ll share confidential aggregated survey results and discuss how to realistically enhance the visitor experience in the short-run and longer-run. Some will be organizational tips; some will become regional priorities.
This Visitor Readiness Self-Assessment should take about 8 minutes to complete. Thank you, in advance, for doing so by March 1. Thanks, also, for all you do to help Chester County thrive. Join us, as we journey--together, to 2026.
