What is the Childcare Business Pathways program?
Childcare Business Pathways is a *FREE VIRTUAL 15-WEEK*, intensive business education program that will teach you how to start or grow a profitable home-based childcare business. Please note that most of the classes for this program are conducted virtually in the evenings two (2) times per week for 3 hours each class. There are additional required classes held during evenings and weekends, for 3 to 5 days, for two (2) weeks of the program.
Program goals include:
- Mentorship and business coaching opportunities.
- Provide no-cost New York State business registration for business owners.
Eligibility Requirements
- Confirmed attendance at an information session.
- An authorized NYCHA public housing development resident or a NYCHA Section 8 voucher holder.
- Interested in starting or growing your home-based childcare business. This program is not for center-based childcare.
- Able to commit to completing the 15-week virtual program, attending all sessions, and completing all homework assignments.
